The TeamMeriwether Advisors LLC's two main principals, David Rothrock and Doug Barrett are corporate and commercial real estate veterans in the Pacific Northwest with combined experience of 40 years.
David C. Rothrock
David co-founded Meriwether Advisors in 2013. Previously, David co-founded Meriwether Partners in 2002
where he served as the Managing Director of the firm’s brokerage and advisory division for eleven years.
With over 23 years of corporate real estate and site selection experience, he has specialized in representing
corporate clients in their tenant representation and site selection needs. David has represented his clients
in over 275 transactions and strategic advisory assignments involving over 4.5 million square feet and $2.3
billion in assets in the Pacific Northwest, nationally and internationally.
Prior to Joining Meriwether Partners, David spent ten years as Senior Vice President at Colliers International,
a Seattle based commercial real estate services firm, where he led the Corporate Services team as a single
point of contact for many notable companies including Microsoft and Attachmate corporations. David
earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Seattle University and is a SIOR and CCIM designee.
David is a graduate of Leadership Spokane and Leadership Bellevue. David, his wife Kirsten and their four
children live in Seattle, Washington.
Douglas O. Barrett
Doug co-founded Meriwether Advisors in 2013 bringing over 18 years of commercial real estate experience
to the company. Before joining Meriwether Advisors, in 2000 Doug co-founded ATREG, Inc., an advisory
firm specializing in the semiconductor and advanced technology sectors. During his tenure at ATREG
from 2000 to 2013, Doug represented clients in over 35 transactions and strategic advisory / consulting
assignments involving millions of square feet and $3.5 billion in assets in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Prior to co-founding ATREG, Doug was a Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Services for
the Seattle based commercial real estate firm, Colliers International. He is a two-time recipient of the
Colliers International President’s Award for outstanding client service, an award given to only one Colliers
professional every two years. Doug graduated cum laude with a Distinction in Economics from Colorado
College and is a CCIM designee. A licensed attorney, Doug earned his Juris Doctor degree from the
University of Washington School of Law. Doug, his wife Laurie and their three children live in Issaquah,
